For this assignment I had to make a map for Minnesota Tourism, the assignment was to design a clear, easy-to-read map highlighting major cities, landmarks, and natural features across the state. The information includes key locations such as Voyageurs National Park, Lake Superior, Lake Itasca, Duluth, Minneapolis, St. Paul, the Mall of America, Como Park Zoo, and major highways like 35, 90, and 94, which shaped the informational hierarchy and placement of labels. The main challenge was organizing these elements in a way that feels balanced while maintaining geographic accuracy. I designed the mao elements including icons, shapes, and color theme to highlight Minnesota. The project was completed using Adobe Illustrator for vector map construction, typography, and layout.
